Failure to Manipulate vs Succeeding to Manipulate | How to Avoid Fake Reversals

hey what is going on everyone welcome to another video in

this one we are going to talk about the failure to manipulate and

succeeding to manipulate and i'm making this video because i'm hearing 10s and 15 messages about people are actually catching the wrong reversals and they're taking

when the price reaches a key level they're instantly shorting or

longing that and they are not understanding

the failure to manipulate or succeeding to manipulate concept

so i'm going to be clearing that out so starting with

the introduction here shout out to garrett i

learned this from him personally this was introduced by the amtrace but over time i have learned this from the garrett and the failure to manipulate and succeeding to manipulate are very very important

because it helps you to spark the true reversals and

avoid the fake reversals and you can understand when

an asset is truly expanding and

are we manipulating a certain high or not so

we are going to be answering all these questions so the first one is failure to manipulate that is when a price reaches a key level or an asset trading into the previous day high if we're really keep

The fair value gap is a lower time frame key level. That is why I have added the fair value gap.

A relevant swing, which can be like a swing on the daily chart, on the four hour chart.

But actually, it is the previous day high and previous day slow. And the key characteristics of the failure to manipulate our win price reaches a key level, displaces through it,

consolidate above or below it, or retraces into a four hour lower time frame gap,

or any kind of retracement into an auto blocker etc but

it does not traverse so here are the schematics

this is the four hour chart or the daily chart the

price is expanding in certain direction and when people see

this rejection channel they are instantly shorting the next channel lower which is not something we do because we need information here is the price

consolating is high retracing or

is it continuing above or aggressively

going through it so these are all the things we will

be talking about and I'm gonna give you a bunch of examples and

here is that an hourly or lower time frame price

is expanding in certain direction when it reaches the high when

people see these shorting candles they're instantly shorting

the kind of tools or just positioning themselves

within this scale but this is not actually a reversal what

is a reversal we will talk about that in the next slide but as

you can see the price retraces into a gap and then continue expanding

in that direction and here we have another

relevant swing the price consolidates above it

or below it that is for um it

is actually waiting for the correlated asset to reach that same high and then reverse both of them or then continue through it so these are the concepts

now succeeding to manipulate this is opposite to failing

to manipulate this is when price reaches a key level

but instead of consolidation retracement are

displacing through it it instantly reverse and by

reversal i mean a quick reversal so the key characteristics of the The succeeding to manipulate is immediate rejection, sharp reversal, no consolidation, no retracement, and a strong displacement.

And often you can pair an SMT divergence or PSP with that to confirm it even more.

And the confirmation also increases when the correlated assets

are trading away from the same high or from the SMT that is created by the asset reaching to that high, which we will be covering in the next video, which is about the SMT and SMT break.

now this is the price expanding into a key level instead

of retracing it instantly reverses through either

you can skip the reversal part and trade the continuation lower

with more confirmation ever disrespecting the gap

or there we have an SMT divergence all or

when we are creating an SMT here are the correlated asset

all are expanding away from this level so these are the things you should be focusing on so we reach a relevant level expands

away from this instant reversal followed by a reversal

lower this is on the hourly or lower time frame we

reaches a key level instead of consolidation or retracement we are instantly rejecting and if all the assets are doing that like for example gold and silver and xajur and xajup

nqes and ym reversing away from the same level that is actually a reversal and it can also be an SMT which we will cover in the next video.

For example, this is the NQ reaching into

a key level creating an SMT divergence and the YM is somewhere low in the range and when NQ started reversing, the YM also started reversing lower.
