How does it feel seeing her close?

[(Big)] She's bigger than I expected.

And I can really tell you're a longtime cat owner.

[(Poker face) / How old are Samonim and Aegissi?] Could you try guessing how old my cats are?

[LEE KNOW guesses Aegissi is 6-7 years old] I'd say about six or seven.

[(Clingy dad)] Doesn't she look three?

[(Instant shutdown)] She doesn't look three at all.

[Scan complete] That's not a body you can grow in just three years...

[Time to really brag about our cats] Before we learn about Koshorts, why don't you introduce your cats?

[LEE KNOW's three Koshort brothers] I have three cats at home.

First is Soonie.

[Soonie / Oldest / Age: 15] He's a 15-year-old grandpa.

[Traits: Big appetite / Nickname: King Pork Cutlet] He's still full of energy and runs around really well

and he eats well and has a pretty big appetite

[a.k.a. Foodie Soonie] - so the fans gave him the nickname "King Pork Cutlet." - King Pork Cutlet.

[Cheese is spilling out... / A hearty cheese King Pork Cutlet]

He's really hefty.

He's definitely on the hefty side.

I'm curious how hefty he looks in person.

[(He actually looks smaller on camera...)] - The way he looks on camera and in person feels different too. - Right, right.

[Doongie / Second / Age: 13] And the second is 13 years old.

[Traits: Affectionate / Raised on Mom's back] He's exactly two years younger than Soonie.

[The affectionate one among the three brothers] And he's the most affectionate of the three.

Doongie is the most affectionate.

[LEE KNOW says he's a chatterbox] And he's very noisy.

Does he always try hard to get attention?

[He also talks to himself(?) a lot] Rather than trying to get attention

I think he talks to himself a lot too.

[Doongie trait: Loves piggyback rides] And he really loves riding on my mom's back.

- On her back? - Yes.

Ever since he was little, she'd carry him on her back

[The beloved baby who was literally carried on her back] with one of those baby wraps.

She really raised him on her back.

[Dori / Youngest / Age: 6 / Traits: King of affection / Energetic speedster] Dori is a mackerel tabby, and he's six.

[The affectionate youngest] He's so cute and so affectionate.

- And... - I think his face is really cute too.

[(As a kitten) / Still the smallest for now] He's still the smallest

[Slender compared to his older brothers] and he's pretty slim.

Relatively slim.

- He's still the smallest. - Yes.

He has gotten a lot bigger than when he was a kitten, though.

[Will he carry on the family's hearty(?) tradition...?] I'm really curious how big he'll get.

[Dori trait: Addicted to butt pats] And more than anything, he really loves having his butt patted.

Butt pats.

So he's a huge fan of those.

[(Can play "MANIAC" many times)] Then you could practically play a whole song by keeping the rhythm.

[(Samonim's butt is waiting too)] One song isn't enough.

- If it's that much... - The moment I stop

[Butt-pat musician (but now it's on repeat...)] he comes back and complains, and if I walk away, he follows me and sticks his butt out.

[Q. How did LEE KNOW first meet Soonie, Doongie, and Dori?] How did you first end up bringing them home?

I remember that time really clearly.

Was it a sledding park?

[Middle schooler LEE KNOW goes volunteering] I think I went there to volunteer when I was in middle school.

And after I finished that day

[A divine feline revelation that felt like fate] the thought, "I should get a cat,"

suddenly came to me like I was under a spell.

[After deciding to adopt a cat] I told my mom, "I want a cat,"

and she said, "Okay, look into where you can get one."

[Starts by looking for cats in poor health] I thought, "I should take in one that's sick or not doing well,"

so I went to a nearby animal hospital.

At that animal hospital, there were five...

[Sick cats being cared for at the animal hospital] three? I think there were three or four of them

and one of them kept staring right at me like...

[Take me with you...!] there was this one cat looking at me with eyes that said, "Take me with you."

[That cat = Soonie, who had quite a temper] I think he had quite a temper back then too.

He was jumping all over the place and causing a scene.

[(LEE KNOW & Soonie drawn to each other like fate)] But when our eyes met

["This is the cat"] I just thought, "He's the one."

[Middle schooler LEE KNOW / Takes sick Soonie home in a box] So I put him in a box and took bus No. 90.

[True obsession / He even remembers the bus seat] You even remember the bus number.

I remember the exact seat too.

[His first meeting with Soonie is still vivid]

That day must have really left an impression on you.

To share a little more of the story

a few days after I brought him home

[The sick cats left behind stayed on his mind after adopting Soonie] I kept thinking about the cats that were still there

and I thought about bringing them home too.

[He called the animal hospital to bring the others home too, but...] I called, but they had all gone somewhere not so good...

They had crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

[They were in such poor health]

I think they were in really bad condition.

[Fortunately, Soonie became healthy after being adopted] But in the middle of all that, Soonie came to our house and got healthy.

[Soonie / Still going strong as a senior-cat King Pork Cutlet] Even now at 15, he still runs around.

- So he's doing really well. - Yes, that's right.

And then your second cat came along.
