0:00
I seek refuge with Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed devil. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of the prophets, Muhammad, and upon his pure and virtuous family.
0:12
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
0:15
Expand my chest, ease my task, and untie the knot from my tongue so that they may understand my speech. The Commander of the Faithful, peace and blessings be upon him, came to the mosque, and the mosque was crowded with people.
0:27
And he called out as the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, commanded him.
0:31
Saying, 'Come to the wedding of Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family.'
0:37
The narration says that Ali's voice echoed until it pierced through the orchards and fields.
0:45
And people began to come in crowds, both men and women.
0:50
As for the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, he prepared butter and oil.
0:56
Why, the sweet days were not like this; they had baklava and a mix of poison and oil.
1:02
And the Prophet had prepared it himself, may my soul be sacrificed for him, meaning he made this sweet so that it would be permissible with this food.
1:11
And people came and ate and took food with them, and nothing was diminished from the food.
1:20
Until everyone was full; everyone was full, the whole city, yes indeed.
1:25
Now the Prophet ordered that they bring the pots; everyone who had a pot or a kettle should come.
1:32
So they brought the pots, and the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, filled them with food.
1:37
Then he asked one of his wives from his household to bring him a plate.
1:43
He placed food in it and said, 'This is for Fatimah, and give her this for their dinner.'
1:49
Include them, O Prophet, peace be upon him and his family.
1:54
The Prophet had prepared a dress for Fatimah al-Zahra for her wedding.
2:01
Considering that when a woman is married to her husband, she is adorned in the best of her garments.
2:07
And Fatimah had only one dress, which was patched, meaning it was sewn with patches.
2:15
So the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, bought Fatimah a new dress that he prepared for her wedding.
2:21
Fatimah, where are you at home, and where are the people in the mosque? Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
2:28
Please come in. The man said, 'I am a poor beggar in need of something.'
2:33
Well, Fatimah had only two dresses: one she was wearing.
2:39
And the new dress, which was the wedding dress, she thought to give her dress that she was wearing, considering she wouldn't need it anymore since she had a new dress.
2:49
Then I remembered the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted, "You will not attain righteousness until you spend from what you love."
2:57
This is in the book "Nuzhat al-Majalis" by Ibn al-Jawzi, narrated in detail.
3:03
So she took the new dress and went to the Prophet, peace be upon him, wanting to prepare Fatima for the wedding.
3:09
He saw there was no new dress, "O Fatima, where is this new dress?" She said, "O Father, the beggar came."
3:15
And the story goes like this, and I thought that this is more beloved to me than that, and Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says, "You will not attain righteousness until you spend from what you love."
3:26
So you want to throw away what you don't want into the trash, not from what you love.
3:33
So I gave the dress, and then Gabriel, peace be upon him, descended with a dress from Paradise like none seen before, he said.
3:45
In any case,
3:49
the Prophet prepared a wedding procession for Fatima al-Zahra, he brought her mule, the gray mule, and placed her on it with the fabric.
3:58
And he mounted Fatima and made Salman lead her, meaning in front of her.
4:04
And he was guiding her, meaning he was behind guiding this mule from his house to the house of the Commander of the Faithful, distances that were not far.
4:14
And there was no street around me, they were coming out for my wedding procession this much.
4:18
Of course, this was after the sun had set when darkness fell.
4:23
But the amazing thing is that this procession did not only include the Prophet, who is the master of creation and the greatest of God's creation participating in this wedding, but the narration says
4:34
And suddenly Gabriel descended with a group of angels, "What happened, Gabriel?"
4:41
He said, "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, commanded us to come,"
4:44
Fatima bled to Ali, so it became
4:47
Gabriel on her right and Michael on her left, and the angel around her were escorting her to the house of the Commander of the Faithful. The Prophet arrived at Ali's house. Ali stood at the door.
4:59
The Prophet entered, and there was no one except the Prophet first. He said to the Commander of the Faithful.
