0:00
Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
0:05
All praise is due to God, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and companions. To proceed:
0:13
We are still discussing the obligatory jurisprudence.
0:17
In explaining this book, which is the clear system in obligatory jurisprudence, we were in the previous lessons.
0:23
We have taken it in three lessons. The first lesson:
0:28
Praise be to God and peace be upon His Prophet, peace be upon him.
0:31
The poet said: 'I begin with the praise of my Lord, who desires good for His servant, and I send blessings and peace upon the Prophet, the teacher of rulings.' He also included a statement about the virtue of jurisprudence.
0:44
The discussion is about what? And jurisprudence is divided into two categories: communal obligation and individual obligation.
0:51
Here is a brief, clear, and understandable system that includes the sections of jurisprudence and describes this system.
0:59
The third lesson includes a discussion about
1:02
the conditions of ablution. The poet said: 'The chapter on purification and the details of ablution include the conditions, then what is required: intention, reason, and Islam.'
1:10
Pure water that is not forbidden removes the barrier to its reach, and likewise what exits from its path.
1:17
We assume now that we have memorized all these verses and understood them, and we will now start the fourth lesson. The poet said:
1:53
This discussion, this lesson, talks about the obligatory acts of ablution.
2:01
He referred to them after saying at the beginning of the last lesson: 'What is the chapter on purification and the details of ablution?'
2:07
It includes the conditions, and we have taken them, then what is required, which is this, and this is what is required: the obligations.
2:15
We previously discussed the difference between a condition and what is the difference between a condition and an obligation. The obligation here is like a pillar.
2:23
And what is the difference between a condition and a pillar? We said the verses about the difference between a condition and a pillar are important.
2:31
The difference between a pillar and a condition is important.
2:36
For the corner is in the essence that any part of it has been included, and the condition is what has been excluded from it.
2:44
This is the pillar of the obligation here, which equals the meaning of the pillar. So what are the pillars of ablution?
2:50
Or what are the obligations of ablution? The first obligation is washing the face. The poet said: 'The obligation is to wash the face.'
2:58
This is the first obligation of ablution: washing the face. What is the limit of the face? The limit of the face has a limit from width.
3:05
It is from ear to ear; the ear is not part of the face, but what is between the ears.
3:12
All of this is included in the limit of the face. This is its width limit; the length limit of the face.
3:17
It starts from the usual hairline, pay attention to the usual hairline.
3:23
Because some people may be bald, some may have hair falling on their forehead.
3:29
The considered natural person is from the hairline of the head.
3:34
This is the beginning and end of the face.
3:38
To whom it may concern from now on and the chin
3:41
So you have now the two bones which are
3:44
the two bones of the lower jaw until the end of these two bones and where they meet in the middle, which is called the chin, this must be washed.
3:55
After that, what relates to the neck and the jaw is not included in the limits of the face.
4:01
Is it clear? So this is the washing of the face, okay.
4:05
Also, washing the face includes the mouth and the nose, rinsing and inhaling, and this is what the poet referred to in the second verse by saying.
4:14
And the mouth and the nose are part of the face, make it the mouth and the nose part of the face, make it.
4:21
His saying, 'and the mouth and the nose are part of the face,' means the mouth is washed by rinsing and the nose is washed by inhaling.
4:28
So, inserting the water into the nose is done by inhaling, and inserting it into the mouth is done by rinsing.
4:34
The minimum for rinsing is to bring water into your mouth and swirl it around at least a little in the mouth.
4:44
A minimal swirl is just that the water moves in the mouth, this is considered rinsing.
4:52
And regarding the nose, it is that you draw the water in.
4:59
You inhale the water into the nose, but reaching the top of the nose is not obligatory but recommended.
