Watch Me LIVE Backtest My Trading Strategy for 30 Days (Full Process)

I spent the first years of my trading completely overwhelmed by random concepts and jumping from different strategies, just hoping that something would work.

But it wasn't until I developed my system, the same one that I've been trading for the past five years, that I actually found consistency in my trading.

So here you'll watch me live backtest my system. You'll see every single trade from start to finish, every decision I make and why I'm making it.

And I'll walk you through the entire thought process through each step.

All so that you can understand the logic and apply it for yourself in the same way that you see me taking these trades every single week in the live market.

So we'll just use this to get a random start date. I'm going to ask it to give me a random Monday from the beginning of 2022 to the end of 2024.

That's probably a good range of time. All right, so April 22nd, 2024, that's going to be our start date for the backtesting session.

Here we have the session all set up. The account balance, I kept it at the default of 100,000.

Then with the assets ES and Q and YM, that's what I'm trading 99% of the time in the live market.

So no reason to move outside of that. I want to focus on these pairs here. And then we have our initial date at 4-22-2024.

And I don't have a specific end date set because I'm really just going to take this day by day and trade by trade.

I don't want to sacrifice the quality of explaining my thought process by trying to force in a lot of trades in this one video.

I'm just going to take my time with it and whatever we end up with at the end of the time

I'm giving for this video is what we'll have so with that we can go

ahead and create the session alright so we're all loaded in the

only thing that I want to point out to make this easier for you all is that

I have three charts set up here and I'm gonna switch in between them

but you can see I have ES on the left and Q

in the middle and YM on the right you'll notice that I'm

mainly focused on ES and NQ throughout this whole thing YM usually stays off to the side sometimes it'll come in for framework using it for divergences a lot

of the times it'll be around 9 30 for entries but

majority of focus is going to remain here and you guys will be able to

follow along with what i'm explaining now with that out of the way we'll just jump

right into this and i'm already immediately seeing something it's good that we started

on a monday and i chose that for a reason because that's really where i

start my week with a specific process and this is a good

example here where we have a previous week close in an expansion rule if we focus on nq here we have one expansion day two and three into the previous week close at the extremes.

And then we expect the market to either reverse return back into the range or consolidate in range.

So Monday here is something I'd let print either way because I want that additional context.

So what does Monday do here and what does that lead me into assuming that Tuesday should do? And Tuesday is really where I'm going to start my trading.

I'm definitely always partial to the continuation. I'm seeing this framework on YM, but also ES as well, where that previous Friday had that larger wick off the low and then we expanded higher away from it.

So we potentially have a Monday low, a continuation away, and Tuesday can just be a continuation of that move as well.

The only opposing reaction that I'm really seeing is this previous day high, which is its own relevant swing.

We have that wick here. So I'm keeping that as a secondary thought.

It's always possible because we do have some divergences in the market as well, but ultimately leaning

towards continuation and i'd want to see the daily profile development

just alongside this here i'm also just going to throw on the

invalidation point from the closing price to the

opposing wick right here so if we do end up

developing bullish i want to see it in respect to that go

to the seven hour and just allow this to start printing so that 18

candle one o'clock candle coming in expansion

away so 18 candle low not trading in that one o'clock candle

if we're bullish one thing that this does help with context

which is why development is so important is i know we

are starting to invalidate the wick

that we had that opposing concern with we're starting to expand through

it and aligning a bullish profile so immediately this

is starting to look good let's get even

more of a push and now we have these failure swings up into the previous day high we've invalidated that wick especially when you think about nq here if we were bearish we would have wanted to see that respected.

We've traded through it. 18 reversal in the profile. Now this here is where I want to see continued development into New York.

I'd set an invalidation point inside of that London session. If we are going to get bullish, then we should see price respect here.

Start dropping to my intermediate timeframes. Need that eight o'clock candle open right here.

And already this is actually looking very good. I'm going to slow this down because we already have a potential entry on this.

We get a closure on this 30 minute, two minutes, one minute right here. Okay.

This is going to be an entry because 30 minute I'm seeing deep run back into our invalidation point divergence off the lows here, closure through valid opposing candles.

So immediately I'm thinking we've invalidated any concern for the downside. We've aligned an 18 reversal profile.
