بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

وعلى آله وصحبه ومن ولاه أما بعد هذا هو المجلس الرابع والأخير

We have reached the point where he, may Allah have mercy on him, mentions the evidence for prayer, zakat, and the interpretation of monotheism. I read this, please proceed.
قد وصلنا عند قوله رحمه الله ودليل الصلاة والزكاة وتفسير التوحيد قرأت هذه يتفضل

In the name of Allah, all praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.
بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

O Allah, forgive us, our Sheikh, and the believers, both men and women, and the Muslims, both living and dead.
اللهم اغفر لنا ولشيخنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات والمسلمين والمسلمات الأحياء منهم والأموات

The author, may Allah have mercy on him, said: The evidence for prayer, zakat, and the interpretation of monotheism.
قال المصنف رحمه الله تعالى ودير الصلاة والزكاة وتفسير التوحيد

Allah, the Exalted, said: 'And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, making religion sincere for Him.'
قوله تعالى وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة وذلك دين القيمة

And the command for fasting, Allah, the Exalted, said: 'O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.'
ودير الصلاة قوله تعالى يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

And the command for pilgrimage, Allah, the Exalted, said: 'And Hajj to the House is a duty upon the people for whoever is able to make the journey to it.'
وذي الحج قوله تعالى وَلَلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبِيْتِ مَنْ إِسْتَطَاعَ عَلَيْنَا سَبِيلًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَلِيْنِينَ

The third rank is faith, which has seventy-some branches. The highest of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the lowest is removing something harmful from the road.
المرتبة الثالثة الإيمان وهي بضع وسبعون شعبة علىها قول لا إله إلا الله وأدناها إيماط أذعان طيق

And modesty is a branch of faith, and its pillars are six: to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and divine decree.
والحياء شعبة من الإيمان وأركانهم ستة أن تؤمن بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله

The Day of Judgment and the Day of Destiny, all of its good and evil is from God.
ويوم الآخر ويوم القدر خيره وشره كله من الله

And the pillars of this are six, as He, the Exalted, said
والدير على هذه أركان ستة قولهم تعالى

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces towards the east or the west, but righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets
ليس البر أنتم لنوجوهكم قبل المشرق والمغرب ولكن البر من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر والملائكة والكتاب والنبيين

And He said, 'Indeed, We have created everything with measure'
ودير قدر قولهم تعالى إنا كل شيء خلقناه بقدر

I was commanded with the third, which is kindness, a single pillar, which is to worship Allah as if you see Him; if you do not see Him, then indeed He sees you
أمرت بالثالثة الإحسان ركن واحد وهو أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك

And He said, 'And whoever submits his face to Allah while being a doer of good has certainly grasped the firmest handhold.' And He said, 'Indeed, Allah is with those who are righteous and those who are doers of good'
ودير قولهم تعالى ومن يسلم وجهه إلى الله وهو محسنون فقد استمسك بمروة الوثقاء وقولهم تعالى إن الله معلمين يتقون والذين هم محسنون

And His saying, 'And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.'
وقوله تعالى وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّ عَلَىٰهِ فَهُ حَسْبُهُ قَوْلُهُ

He, the Exalted, said, 'And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, who'
تعالى وَتَوَكَّ عَلْ عَلَيْزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ الَّذِي

Sees you when you arise and your movements among those who prostrate. Indeed, He
يَرَاكَ حَيَةَ قُومُ وَتَقَلُّ بَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ إِنَّهُ

Is the Hearing, the Knowing, and His saying, 'And whatever you are in, and whatever'
هُوَ السَّمِعُ الْعَلِيمِ وَقَوْلُهُ وَمَا تَكُونُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا

The man said, looking at the clothes and the black hair that could not be seen.
قال عليه الرجل شيد بنظر الثياب شيد سواد الشعر لا يرى

He had the signs of travel and was not recognized by anyone until he sat with the Prophet, peace be upon him, and placed his knees against his knees and his hands on his thighs and said, O Muhammad, tell me about Islam.
عليه أثر السفر ولا يعرفه من أحد حتى جلس إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأسن ركبتي ركبتي وضى كفي على فخذيه وقال يا محمد أخبرني على الإسلام

He said, to bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to establish prayer, to give zakat, to fast Ramadan, and to perform Hajj to the House if you have the means.
فقال أن تشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمد رسول الله وتقيم الصلاة وتؤتي الزكاة وتصوم رمضان وتحج البيت إذا استطعت لي سبيل

He said, you have spoken the truth. We were amazed at him asking and being told the truth. He said, then tell me about faith.
فقال صدقت فعجبنا له يسألهم ويصدقه قال فأخبرني عن الإيمان

He said, to believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, the Last Day, and the decree, both good and bad.
قال أن تؤمن بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله واليوم الآخر والقدر خيره وشره

He said, you have spoken the truth. Then tell me about excellence. He said, to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him, He sees you.
قال صدقت قال فأخبرني عن الإحسان قال أن تعبد الله كأنك تراهم فإن لم تكن تراهم فإنه يراك

He said, you have spoken the truth. Then tell me about the Hour. He said, the one being asked knows no more than the one asking. He said, then tell me about its signs.
قال صدقت قال فأخبرني عن الساعة قال ما المسؤول عنها بأعلام السائل قال فأخبرني عن أمرتها

He said, that you see the slave woman give birth to her mistress, and that you see the barefoot, naked, impoverished shepherds competing in building tall structures. He then left, and I remained for a while.
قال أن تيد الأمة ربتها وأن ترى الحفاة العرات العالة رعاء الشاء يهطاومون في البنياء قال فمضى فلبثت مليا

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, O Umar, do you know who the questioner was? We said, Allah and His Messenger know best. He said, this is Gabriel who has come to teach you your religion.
فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم يا عمر أسجر من السائل قلنا الله ورسوله أعلم قال هذا جبريل أتاكم يعلمكم أمر دينكم

Yes, may Allah have mercy on him, and the author continued to speak about the ranks of Islam.
نعم قال رحمه الله ولا زال المصنف يتكلم عن مراتب الإسلام

They are Islam, faith, and excellence, and the first rank is Islam, which has five pillars.
وهي الإسلام والإيمان والإحسان وهو في المرتبة الأولى الإسلام ولها أركان خمسة

We have spoken about the first pillar and the evidence for the first pillar.
قد تكلمنا عن الركن الأول ودليل الركن الأول

The pillars are the evidence for prayer and zakat, and the explanation of monotheism is His saying, and they were not commanded except to worship Allah, making religion sincere for Him.
الأركان قال ودليل الصلاة والزكاة وتفسير التوحيد قوله تعالى وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين
4:11
They are upright and establish prayer and give zakat, and that is the religion of the upright.
حنفاء ويقيم الصلاة ويؤت الزكاة وذلك دين القيمة

This verse contains the explanation of monotheism, and the explanation of monotheism is in His saying, and they were not commanded except to worship Allah, making religion sincere for Him, upright.
هذه الآية فيها تفسير التوحيد وتفسير التوحيد فيها في قوله وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء
4:28
This means those who were commanded to obey Allah, the Exalted, and to unify Him.
يعني هؤلاء الذين أمروا بطاعة الله سبحانه وتعالى وتوحيده

The meaning of that is what is meant by monotheism is to worship Allah, making religion sincere for Him, upright, meaning deviating from the wrong path.
المقصود بذلك ما معنى التوحيد أن يعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفا يعني مائلين عن غير طريق الحق
4:48
And to be steadfast on the path of truth, to establish prayer, and to give zakat, and that is the religion of the upright, and it also contains evidence for prayer and zakat.
ومستقيمين على طريق الحق ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا الزكاة وذلك دين القيمة وفيه دليل كذلك على الصلاة والزكاة

He said, and the evidence for fasting is His saying, O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.
قال ودليل الصيام قوله تعالى يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون
