Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

All praise is due to God, and may His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of God, his family, and his companions. I ask God, the Exalted and Almighty,

to grant us understanding in religion, to teach us what benefits us, and to benefit us with what He has taught us,

and to increase us in beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. Indeed, He is the Guardian of that and capable of it.

Now, we continue with this system,

which is the clear system in the necessary jurisprudence.

As usual, I remind you to be diligent in the continuous study, review, and revision of knowledge.

If a scholar does not review his knowledge and does not acquire knowledge, he forgets what he has learned.

How many have gathered books in every school of thought,

and they increase with the days in their collection, blind.

The essence is always in knowledge with precision and mastery.

I hope that you have mastered and perfected what has been previously covered.

This lesson pertains to what is required in ablution,

or what is required in purification,

which means the purification of ablution.

The poet said, and let us quickly review what has been previously mentioned, praising my Lord, who grants goodness to His servant, understanding. I begin with the prayer of God and peace upon the Prophet, the teacher of rulings.

And after that, jurisprudence is of two types: communal obligation and individual obligation.

In the second type, there is a brief, clear system that addresses the chapter of purification and details in ablution the conditions, then what is obligatory: the intellect with Islam, pure water, except for what is forbidden.

Removing the barrier to its access, and likewise what exits from its path. The obligation is to wash the face and hands, wipe the head, wash the feet, and the mouth and nose are part of the face. Arrange them and do not forget the ears from your head.

This obligation we have now is to name it along with washing the hands after waking from a night sleep.

The obligation in ablution consists of two matters. The poet said that its obligation is the pronoun in our saying: its obligation.

It refers to why it is an obligation, which obligation of ablution, which obligation is it?

Why is it an obligation, what obligation is it, what is ablution?

Okay, now we previously discussed in the last lesson the obligation in ablution, which is washing the face. What is the difference between an obligation and a duty? What is the difference between an obligation and a duty, guys?

We say the difference between an obligation

And the obligation here in ablution is that the obligatory act, which is the previous obligation, is the one that was mentioned in the last lesson.

It does not drop in the case of intention, meaning purpose.

Nor in the case of forgetfulness and negligence, meaning if a man performed ablution and deliberately left washing his face, his ablution is invalid.

Okay, if a man performed ablution and forgot to wash his face, his ablution is also invalid.

If he deliberately left wiping his head, his ablution is invalid.

If he forgot to wipe his head, his ablution is also invalid because there is no difference in the obligation between the deliberate and what?

And the forgetful or negligent is considered deliberate, meaning he intended to leave it.

Forgetful or negligent means he did not intend to leave it, but he forgot it in both cases regarding the obligation that we discussed, not the duty regarding the obligation in both cases, what?

The ablution is not valid, and as for the duty, this is what we have today.

The duty drops in the case of forgetfulness.

If he performed ablution and forgot the obligatory saying, the saying is obligatory.

He did not mention Allah Almighty at the beginning of his ablution, so his ablution.

Forgetting is valid, but if he deliberately left the saying, then his ablution is invalid.

So the obligation in ablution is first the saying, what does the saying mean? It means to say, 'In the name of Allah.'
